The New London/Lake Sunapee area is well known for its beauty and charm, its clean environment, and its peaceful way of life. It offers excellent schools, hospitals, libraries, restaurants and shops, and is only a half-hour from Concord or Hanover.

Lake Sunapee, Pleasant Lake and other nearby lakes and ponds are perfect for swimming, sailing, canoeing, water skiing and fishing. Winter lake sports include skating, ice fishing, and ice boating. Colby-Sawyer College, in New London, provides public access to cultural events, and its new sports facility includes an indoor swimming pool, racquetball courts and a world-class workout facility.

The area towns (New London, Sunapee, Wilmot, Sutton, Newbury, Andover, Bradford, Warner) tend to attract young families with children, professionals, artists and retirees for the many amenities which are offered here.
